Additional Farmers Market Vouchers Available for Northampton County Seniors

[Northampton County, PA] – Northampton County has received an additional supply of Farmers Market Nutrition Program vouchers thanks to a neighboring county that did not use its full allocation. Approximately 100 sets of vouchers are now available for eligible Northampton County residents.

Vouchers are available on a first-come, first-served basis and must be distributed by September 23, 2025 or until supplies run out.

Distribution schedule:

• Tuesday, September 16 – 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the DHS Building
• Thursday, September 18 – 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the DHS Building

Participants must present a valid photo ID showing a Northampton County address in order to receive vouchers.

The Farmers Market Nutrition Program provides eligible seniors with vouchers that can be used to purchase fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs from participating farmers markets.
