Beginning March 1, 2017, the Northampton County Sheriff's Department will cease to use its current multi-page, carbonized Order For Service Request. From that date on, all civil actions filed in Northampton County for which the Sheriff is requested to make service must be accompanied by the revised, single-page Order For Service Request. The new form can be obtained online by
clicking here.
For all civil actions, including real estate and personal property, be certain to include a valid e-mail address on the OFSR as all affidavits of service will be returned to the requesting party via e-mail. For real estate executions, complete one (1) signed Northampton County Order for Service Request for the levy, one (1) for each defendant to be served, and one (1) for posting the handbill. For personal property executions, complete one (1) signed Northampton County Order for Service Request for the levy, one (1) for each defendant to be served, and one (1) for each garnishee to be served. "
