The 2023 Livable Landscapes Grant Program grant round is open January 26 – March 30, 2023. All potential applicants need to participate in the grant workshop and conduct a pre-application meeting with Sherry Acevedo, Conservation Coordinator.
2023 Livable Landscapes Grant Program TIMELINE:

Mandatory Grant Workshop: Thursday, February 16, 2023, 9:00 am – 12 pm AM in the Education Room, Jacobsburg Environmental Education Center, 400 Belfast Road, Nazareth, PA 18064
- Grant Applications Due: Thursday, March 30, 2023 by 1 PM by electronic submission (PDF) to sacevedo@norcopa.gov
- County Grant Review: April/May 2023
- County Grant Award Approval: May/June 2023
- Grant Expiration: December 31, 2025 for awarded grants; final inspection before expiration

Eligible applicants include: Municipalities and Council of Governments in Northampton County, non-profit organizations, and institutions of Higher Education. Eligible projects need to be consistent with the Action Plan and Goals established in the Livable Landscapes – An Open Space Plan for Northampton County and be consistent with other regional and local plans.

GRANT REMINDERS:

- Refer to Appendix II - Supplemental Information of all documentation to be submitted with grant application; up to three (3) pages of Project Narrative/Scope of Work
