ANNUAL LICENSES ARE VALID FROM JANUARY 1 - DECEMBER 31

State Law requires all dogs over 3 months of age to be licensed, owners of unlicensed dogs are subject to fines up to $300.00.
Licenses are valid for the county in which the owner resides.

2023 Dog licenses may be purchased online, no application necessary ($2.00 convenience fee is collected by credit card processor).

Annual Licenses
You must be 65 at the time of licensing to qualify for a senior license, if disabled Proof of disability is required. If your mailing address is a PO Box number, please include the actual street name so if your dog is lost it would be easier to reunite you with your pet. Annual Dog License Application.pdf


Lifetime Licenses (Available only at the Revenue Division Courthouse location)
Requires your pet to be micro chipped or tattooed. Permanent Identification Verification Form completed and signed by the veterinarian required. If getting a tattoo, you MUST obtain the tattoo number from the Treasurer's Office and return a completed and signed Permanent Identification Form to the Treasurer’s Office within 30 days of obtaining the tattoo number)

* - This amount does not include the $2.00 convenience fee collected by the credit card processor if ordering online.

Duplicate dog tags for damaged or misplaced tags - charge indicated above, request must include license number.
Transfer of dog between owners - charge indicated above along with written signed request from the owner who purchased the original tag.
Transfer in or out of Northampton County (owners address) - charge indicated above along with written signed request from the owner who purchased the original tag.
