Easton, Bethlehem and all of Northampton County are located almost directly on one of the most important Interstate highways in the mid-Atlantic region – I-78. Both cities are also located on a major 4-lane arterial highway that parallels I-78 - Route 22, which provides residents with quick access to schools and colleges, health care, and shopping throughout Northampton County.

Bieber Tourways and Trans-Bridge Lines offer daily commuter service to various cities, including Philadelphia, New York City and Atlantic City, as well as to the Newark and JFK International Airports. Valley Rapid Transit – Silverline EXPRESS provides efficient service throughout the Lehigh Valley - Easton to Allentown - with stops at Palmer, Westgate and Lehigh Valley Malls, at a cost of just $2.00 for the entire day.

The Lehigh and Northampton Transit Authority (LANTA) provides public bus service to Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton and their suburbs. LANTA serves more than four million passengers annually with a network of 26 fixed bus routes; providing daily, later evening and weekend service. According to LANTA, more than 380,000 people live within walking distance of a metro route.

Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) is centrally located just off Route 22, just five miles from downtown Bethlehem and fourteen miles from downtown Easton. ABE is served by Air Canada’s Air Georgian, Continental Connection, Continental Express, Delta Connection, Northwest AirLink, Northwest Airlines, Southeast Airlines, United Express, US Airways, and US Airways Express – with as many as fifty departures per day to destinations throughout the Northeast and to Canada, Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and numerous destinations in Florida.
