Our county-based medical centers offer quality medical services to residents of the Lehigh Valley and western New Jersey. Other major medical centers in Philadelphia and New York are within no more than a 90-minute drive.

 

Easton Hospital is an acute-care teaching hospital located in the heart of Easton. Easton Hospital's key areas of expertise and quality programs include Bariatric Surgery for Morbid Obesity, Cardiovascular Care, Community Care Centers, Home Health and Hospice Services, Regional Cancer Center, Emergency Room, Imaging and Radiology, Laboratory, Maternal and Child Health, Medical, Senior, Surgical and Wound Care.

HealthGrades, the healthcare quality company, awarded Easton Hospital the 2004 Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence. This is the second year in a row that Easton Hospital has received this award. This distinction places Easton Hospital among the top five percent of all acute-care hospitals in the country in terms of overall clinical excellence across a broad array of services.

Through its affiliation with the nationally renowned Fox Chase Cancer Center, Easton Regional Cancer Center provides access to the most advanced cancer treatments available. Easton Hospital's heart surgery program, established in 1994, offers quality heart services to all residents of the community.

 


Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg

Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg is part of the nationally acclaimed Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network, which has been ranked for eight consecutive years among “America’s Best Hospitals” by US News & World Report. LVHHN’s Regional Heart Center is one of Pennsylvania’s largest. LVHHN was designated Pennsylvania’s first level 1 Trauma Center, and remains the only Level 1 Trauma Center in the Lehigh Valley region with additional qualifications in pediatric trauma. A major partnership with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia provides unique pediatric specialty care close to home.

 

In October 2003, LVHHN opened a new Health Center in Bethlehem Township offering a variety of health services to residents in communities along the new Route 33 corridor and beyond.

A full range of care for the entire family is available through the new HealthSpring practice and Muhlenberg Primary Care PC.

Lehigh Valley Hospice and Home Care - the hospice services provided by Lehigh Valley treat the patient and his or her family. Located in downtown Allentown, Sacred Heart Hospital is a 241-bed acute care facility with 20 skilled nursing beds.

St. Luke’s Hospital & Health Network is comprised of seven tertiary and acute care, non-profit hospitals. The network provides direct services in Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, Schuylkill, Upper Bucks, Eastern Berks, Upper Montgomery and Monroe counties in Pennsylvania and serves a population base of more than 3,000,000 persons. The network includes 741 licensed beds, 72 medical specialties, 1,100 physicians, more than 38,000 annual patient admissions, more than 5,000 employees and nearly 1,000 volunteers.

Hospitals in the network include St. Luke's Hospital – Allentown Campus, St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital and St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital.  The network also includes: St. Luke's North, St. Luke's Union Station, Visiting Nurse Association of St. Luke's, Ambulatory Surgery Center in Northampton County, and more than 40 physician practices and various outpatient facilities. In addition, St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network is developing 180 acres of land in Bethlehem Township.
