WHICH BALLOT SHOULD I USE?



WHO MAY APPLY USING AN ABSENTEE APPLICATION?

  • College students who are not registered to vote at their school address
  • People whose work or vacation take them away from the municipality where they live between the hours of 7am and 8pm
  • Those with a physical disability or ilness that prevents them from going to the polling place
  • Members of the military (Please use the FPCA application)
  • People who have a conflict due to the celebration of a religious holiday
  • Inmates who haven't been convicted of a felony
WHO MAY APPLY USING A MAIL-IN APPLICATION?
  • You may apply for a mail-in ballot if you do not qualify for an absentee ballot.

CAN I CHANGE MY MIND AND VOTE IN PERSON?

YES, YOU CAN BRING YOUR MAIL-IN OR ABSENTEE BALLOT AND THE RETURN ENVELOPE TO YOUR POLLING LOCATION FOR THE JUDGE OF ELECTIONS TO SPOIL SO THAT YOU MAY VOTE ON THE VOTING MACHINES.  IF YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR BALLOT AND THE ENVELOPE YOU MAY ONLY VOTE A PROVISIONAL BALLOT.
