IN RE: ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER 2002-2 – USE OF COURTROOMS AND JUDICIAL FACILITIES
ORDER OF COURT
In order to preserve the dignity of the space dedicated to the judicial branch and to insure that security concerns are met, it is hereby Ordered:
1. Courtrooms and other space dedicated to the use of the Court of Common Pleas of the Third Judicial District shall not be used for non-judicial purposes except as hereinafter provided.
C. The President Judge on receipt of a request from the County Executive or the the President of County Council to use a courtroom or other judicial facility for a governmental purpose shall authorize said use if it does not conflict with performance of the judicial function.
D. The sheriff shall be notified in advance of any non-judicial use of a courtroom. He shall assign staff as needed to maintain adequate security.
E. This order is effective immediately.
