2009-5 Parole Violators

IN THE COURT OF COMMON PLEAS OF NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA CRIMINAL DIVISION IN RE: ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER 2009-5 PAROLE VIOLATORS ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER AND NOW, this 3rd day of June, 2009, it is hereby ordered that, in conformity with the Order of court of October 3, 1995, in addition to Pennsylvania Legislative Act 81-2008, when a defendant is sentenced to a term of imprisonment, the maximum of which comes within the range of 2 years to 5 years less a day, so that the defendant is subjected to the authority of the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole, if such defendant is denied parole at the expiration of his minimum sentence, or is recommitted as a parole violator by the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole, the defendant shall be transferred to a State Correctional Institution, unless otherwise ordered by the sentencing judge to serve the balance of sentence imposed.
