RULE N8.7.1. MANNER OF CONFIRMATION AND APPROVAL OF REPORTS.
 
(a) Report of Auditor.
 
(1) The report of an auditor shall be confirmed absolutely upon filing unless written exceptions are filed with the auditor during the fifteen (15) day notice period provided under Rule N8.6.1.
 
(2) If exceptions are filed with the auditor during the fifteen (15) day notice period, it shall then be the duty of the auditor to re examine his report in the light of exceptions filed and supplement his report by a full consideration of the exceptions seriatim setting forth concisely in his supplemental report his reasons for sustaining or dismissing each exception.
 
(3) The report, together with the exceptions and the supplemental report, shall then be filed with the Clerk and notice thereof shall be given, simultaneously with filing of the report, by the auditor to the parties in interest or their counsel.
 
(4) Unless the exceptions are filed to the report as supplemented within fifteen (15) days of the filing of the supplemental report, the report and the supplemental report shall be confirmed absolutely as of course.
 
(b) Report of Master. The practice and procedure with respect to exceptions to the report of a master shall be governed by subparagraph (a) of Rule N8.7.1, except that in the absence of exceptions, either to the original report prior to filing, or to the report as supplemented after filing, the Clerk shall cause the report to be delivered to the appointing Judge for his examination and entry of appropriate decree.
