N1002 Time and Method of Appeal. Late Filing

RULE N1002. TIME AND METHOD OF APPEAL. LATE FILING.
 
A party seeking leave of court to file an appeal more than thirty (30) days after the date of the judgment shall file a petition with the court pursuant to Rule 1002, et seq., of the Pennsylvania Rules of Civil Procedure for District Justices. The petition and accompanying rule to show cause shall be presented to the Motions Judge. Petitioner shall serve the petition and accompanying rule to show cause by regular mail on the opposing party at least seven (7) days prior to the date set for hearing on the petition. Petitioner shall file a praecipe for the hearing list with the court administrator.
