N547.101 Return of Transcript and Original...

RULE N547.101. RETURN OF TRANSCRIPT AND ORIGINAL PAPERS FROM ISSUING AUTHORITY.

(1) Whenever the issuing authority does not hold the defendant for court within sixty (60) days after the issuance of the criminal complaint, the issuing authority shall report the unreturned status of the proceedings before him to the District Attorney of Northampton County. The report shall be in writing and be transmitted to the District Attorney within three (3) days after the expiration of the sixty day period.
 
(2) When the defendant is held for court, the issuing authority shall also transmit to the Clerk of the Courts and to the District Attorney a copy of the notice of arraignment issued by him to the defendant or his counsel.
