Northampton County was recently awarded a $25,000 Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission (PHMC) grant to continue the historical inventory program for Northampton County.

Director Tim J. Herrlinger of the Northampton County Department of Community and Economic Development (NCDCED) is pleased to congratulate Executive Director Alisa Baratta and the Board of Directors of the Easton's Third Street Alliance for Women and Children, which recently was awarded an $80,000 Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission (PHMC) grant to support the rehabilitation of the exteriors of the Simon and Bixler mansions. Third Street Alliance, whose application was supported by NCDCED, provides a safe and healthy space for women, children, and families to live, learn, and thrive. See more at Third Street Alliance.
