The County Executive The Honorable John Stoffa (610)559-3191   The County Executive is responsible for overseeing county operations that serve the municipalities of Northampton County.   The County Executive’s job is diverse. Under the Home Rule Charter, which was enacted, the County Executive oversees the departments of Administration, Community and Economic Development, Corrections, Court Services, Fiscal Affairs, Human Resources, Human Services and Public Works, in addition to the offices of Coroner, Public Defender, Sheriff and Solicitor.
